Amalgamation, Rebranding, Name changes! What the heck is going on?!

Many thanks go out to all the people involved in the amalgamation of Meridian Environmental Consultants Ltd. (“MECL”) and Summit Liability Solutions Inc. (“Summit”) which was completed on May 1st, 2018. The work involved with total system migration, banking, internal accounting, IT and everything else we take for granted during our day to day activities, is a significant undertaking that our teams succeeded at.

Special appreciation goes out to those former Meridian, now Summit colleagues of ours whom we respect greatly. Thank you for embracing the Summit brand and know that we will always respect and hold the history of Meridian in high regard.

Today, June 1st is the official launch date of our rebranding effort! On this day we (MECL, Summit, and SLS Environmental Pty Ltd.) move forward united as Summit, an Earth Services Company. In conjunction with this, Remuda Energy Solutions Inc. has been trade namedSummit Decommissioning Services. Thank you goes to Mr. Travis Nester, VP Operations, for his support and consistent effort to embrace the Summit brand as we move forward with the growth of this business line.

Together, we are all known as Summit.

But what is this "an Earth Services Company" all about?

We are unique and because of this we wanted something different and more profound than “Environmental” to describe what Summit is about. All our services are related to being custodians of the earth and its precious resources of soil, water, flora, fauna and air. So, because of this we are an Earth Services Company.

All of these businesses going forward will present the common brand name Summit and, our refreshed logo will be on all documentation, reports, invoices, and the like moving forward.

In closing, special thanks to Mr. Jeff Carratt, for his tireless effort on our rebranding milestone. No one has cared and worried more about our final image than JC and for that we all owe him a debt of gratitude. The outcome is best in class! I am proud of our revised name and logo, I believe we have refined our brand in a way that resonates with our customers and our staff. I am excited to see this task fully implemented and for you all to enjoy it as much as I do. Further thank you to our own Ms. Fiona H. for her tremendous work on our new templates and to Evans Hunt, the marketing company who helped us find our way.
